Fostering Unity: Execuflora, Top Turf & The Schultz Family

With the spirit of giving at the forefront, Execuflora & Top Turf collaborated with Shannen Matheyse and her family (The Schultz) to extend a heartfelt gift to the Bonteheuwel community. The Schultz family, driven by a passion for their community, successfully raised R6000, a sum generously matched by Execuflora & Top Turf. Together, we were able to bring joy and support to over four hundred youth and their families in the community.

Legacy of Love: The Schultz Family’s Enduring Commitment to Community Upliftment

The inspiration behind the Schultz family’s commitment to uplifting their community stems from the legacy of a late relative, Magdalene Schultz (Shannen’s Great Grand Mother) who would have celebrated her 100th birthday in December. This remarkable individual, with a warm soul and a kind heart, dedicated herself to warming stomachs and bringing smiles to those in need. Veronique Oliver (Shannen’s Aunty and member of the Bonteheuwel community) notes that the relative’s food drives, and soup kitchens not only drew large crowds but also sparked joy among those who often felt like the “forgotten community.”

Community Champions: Execuflora & Top Turf Unite to Empower the Schultz Family’s Impact

Despite little recognition, the Schultz family stepped up to fill the gaps in their community, prompting Execuflora & Top Turf to join forces and shine a spotlight on an underprivileged community. As an annual event, we invite all those willing to participate to reach out to Execuflora and pledge any amount for the betterment of our surrounding communities.

Kindling Generosity: The Schultz Family’s Commitment to Community Engagement through Execuflora Partnership

The Schultz family believes in the adage “charity starts at home” and hopes that their small contribution will ignite a flame of generosity in others. The alignment of Execuflora’s passion for community engagement with the vision of the Schultz family made our collaboration a natural fit.

Spreading Joy: The Transformative Power of Volunteering during the Holiday Season

Witnessing the smiles on the faces of those who received our gifts not only warmed our hearts but also reminded us of the true meaning of Christmas and the festive season. In the words of Sherry Anderson, “Volunteers don’t get paid, not because they’re worthless, but because they’re priceless.” Together, we strive to make a meaningful impact and inspire others to do the same.
